Breathtaking views on the Tour de Alto Adige

This stage could actually be called the „Race across Alto Adige”. From East to West the stage offers a fantastic view on almost all of the area’s famous mountain massifs. As a kick-off the peloton is passing through Val Gardena heading back towards Isarco Valley. From Waidbruck it continues to Bolzano and from Terlan the track takes a turn towards Versein. Using the evelated road it continues to Oberndorf, from there the way leads back to the Adige Valley. Cycling through fruit farms around Merano first, the path is leading to Vinschgau along stunning apple orchards. From here, around Sulden am Ortler, you can already get a first glimpse of the Passo Stelvio. After another challenging climb the stage finishes in Solda at the bottom of the Ortler Massif.
