In a stunning setting you will constantly go to your limits – and above. Because participating in PEAKBREAK – The Alps Race means to cope with routes that usually only professionals ride. It means to conquer a number of the most challenging Alps passes in only one week. And it also means to compete in an international peloton, as participants from more than 20 nations have already faced this extraordinary challenge.
Since its first holding back in 2008, PEAKBREAK has become an internationally recognized cycling tour for amateurs. In 2012 the team of PEAKBREAK proudly received the Austrian Event Award as „Best Sporting Event“ in Austria. PEAKBREAK has been broadcasted in over 40 TV stations all over the world.
Also in 2018 PEAKBREAK – The Alps Race has put together an exclusive route, the stunning scene of the alps remains though.
This year PEAKBREAK – The Alps Race will take place in the Austrian and Italian Alps, the anchor will be one more time the beautiful Dolomites. The list of peaks and scenic roads participants will have to face is reading like the highlights of the Giro d’Italia:
Passo Gardena, Passo Stelvio, Passo del Rombo and – not to forget – Europe’s highest travelled road up to the Rettenbach glacier in Sölden promise unforgettable experiences for every amateur sportsman.
